What i found most interesting was embeded marketing ! Using one product and marketing another one in it. Vodafone did this by marketing Zimbica.com.

Thirsty Pocket 2.0
Finally last night Apple approved our second version of thirsty pocket, which we are calling Thirsty Pocket 2.0. Why thirsty pocket 2.0 ? Well primarily because we are using lot of social media tools and services which gave way to what was/is web 2.0
These are the following new features that we are introducing :
- a button on the home screen that shows the users whats new in the thirsty pocket marketplace. i really find this interesting, because i can keep up with the 100's of new posts that we are getting.
- Facebook Connect. Login and publish your items to your Facebook page. This is how the screen looks like. Pretty standard and surely safe.
- Twitter: Items you post for sale will appear on the OnthirstyPocket Twitter feed. Looking for deals and bargains, you should consider following our twitter feed.
- Oodle: The marketplace that powers classifieds on My Space, Facebook, and AOL attracting 4 million visitors monthly. Thirsty Pocket items will feed into Oodle.
- Thirsty Pocket Website: share the link of your items to non iPhone users on the web.

We are excited about the growth that we have seen in the last few weeks and are hoping to see a further bump in downloads. In the words of our CEO the latest traffic trend is "Kick Ass" and i totally agree and couldnt be happier. !
